Sorenson testifies before the Ways & Means Committee on Gun Violence and Public Health

On Thursday, September 26, 2019, University of Pennsylvania professor at the School of Social Policy & Practice and Ortner Center director, Susan B. Sorenson was invited to testify before the House of Representatives, Ways and Means Oversight Subcommittee. The topic of the hearing was "The Public Health Consequences and Costs of Gun Violence." Sorenson provided the committee with facts and statistics on suicide, domestic violence, and costs of firearm misuse.
